Welcome to Cambridge Private Tutors
Hello, my name is Richard, and I am the founder of Cambridge Private Tutors. Currently, I am a Year 13 student doing A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Computer Science (A*A*A*A*) at The Perse Upper School in Cambridge.
My passion for teaching and mentoring young students began with the piano, where I have successfully tutored and mentored several aspiring musicians. I have now been tutoring students up to GCSE level and entrance exams for over a year, with many getting excellent grades and into competitive independent schools.
Our Y12, Y13 and University tutors have been personally selected by myself to ensure quality tuition throughout all our student's journey. All tutors have achieved at least a grade 9 in the subject they tutor, have a majority proportion of GCSE's at grade 8/9 (A*), and predicted or achieved all A*s in their A-Levels.

As a dedicated student myself, I understand the challenges that many young learners face in today’s academic environment. Through my experiences as a tutor and mentor, I have developed effective teaching strategies that cater to individual learning styles and needs. My background in music has taught me patience, discipline, and the importance of practice – qualities that I aim to instill in all my students. My portfolio of GCSE's include Grade 9 in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry while I am doing Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Computer Science at A-Level and I am on predicted and on track to achieve 4 A*s.
