Cancellation Policy
To help us manage our schedule effectively and make the best use of available lesson times, please review the cancellation policy below. These guidelines form part of our standard operating practices and ensure fairness and consistency for all students and tutors.
Cancellation Notices
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel a lesson for any reason. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full lesson rate, unless the lesson has been rescheduled to an alternative time.
Rescheduling
Wherever possible, rescheduling a lesson is the preferred option. Please notify your tutor as soon as possible to arrange an alternative time.
Unavoidable Circumstances
It is understood that, on occasion, a parent or student may need to cancel a lesson without notice due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, the cancellation fee may be waived and credited toward the following month. Every effort will also be made to reschedule the missed lesson where possible.
Teacher Absent
If a tutor is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, a full refund will be provided and credited to the following month, or the lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time before the next scheduled session.
No-show Policy
If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson, the tutor will attempt to contact the parent or guardian. If there is no response and the student has not arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the lesson will be marked as a no-show and the full lesson fee will be charged. The lesson will then be cancelled and will not proceed, even if contact is made after the 15-minute window.
Stopping Tuition
Notice of Termination: Please provide a minimum of four weeks’ notice if you wish to discontinue tuition.
